Chapel Porth Beach

Looking west across Chapel Porth beach towards Porthtowan and the north coast cliffs beyond. This was taken towards low tide and is the only time this section of beach is accessible. As the tide comes in it rapidly disappears. The rocks along this stretch of beach are well worth exploring and include a number of caves, some of which join up with the mine workings of Wheal Coates on the cliffs above.
