The Crowns on a Sunny Winter's Afternoon

Botallack is very much the centrepiece of the West Cornwall section of the Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. With its extensive workings and assortment of engine houses this is a fascinating spot for exploring and taking in some of Cornwall's most iconic clifftop scenery.

This shot is a slightly less familiar angle. I was tempted to take the path to the end of the headland but it was a lot windier than it looks and that narrow bit looks more than a little scary!
