The quiet little sand and shingle beach that forms Gillan Harbour. Tucked away just inside the mouth of the Gillan Creek and backed by the woodland of the Helford, this spot really is a little oasis of tranquillity. Or at least it is at 6am, when this photo was taken! The road doesn't really come down to Gillan Harbour which means a walk around from further up the creek. This means it is always fairly quiet and the most likely visitors will have arrived by boat or by boot.
