View out over Gwynver beach near Sennen. I decided to spell it this way today but I usually spell it Gwenver. Other people write it Gwenvor or Gwenva. Whichever way it is written it is said the name translates from the Cornish for "white water", which seems quite appropriate given how much swell the beach attracts.
