Just outside of the ever-popular fishing village of Mevagissey is Polstreath beach. Despite its location in prime tourist territory it never gets too busy, basically because it is a bit of a challenge to get to.
The 200+ steps down to the beach are both steep and somewhat vertiginous. Whilst younger kids will love this cove there are likely to be tears and tantrums on the way back up!
