The lovely Scilly Isles beach of Porthcressa on St Mary's. You may be surprised to know that this is not the middle of winter or some inaccessible corner of the island. This was at around 10am in the middle of the school holidays and 5 minutes walk from the main harbour!
To the right is a promenade running the length of the beach and beyond that, Hugh Town, the island's main town.
