St Michael's Mount Church interior

Set at the heart of the Mount is this little medieval church, the tower of which forms the high point of the castle. The church reflects the Mount's early use as a monastery and in part dates back to the 12th century.

Much of what you see today is from the 14th century with much further remodelling thereafter.

St Michael's Mount church is still used for Sunday services from the end of May to September.
