In Penzance, we have a 14-time World Champion in Julie Kitchen (Thai kick-boxing). She wasn't even considered to be one of the Olympic torch bearers. It beggars belief. Apart from a Gorsedd award, Julie has been recognised by no one in Cornwall or Britain. How many sportsmen/women can boast a record of 14 World titles? And those 14 were in consecutive years, the last one gained just a week or so ago.

It's not a high profile sport, so I'm not surprised I haven't heard of her, but to not be a torch bearer? What is their criteria exactly? Sounds like she's exactly the sort of person that should be "honoured" with that duty.
