Congratulations to Cornishman Josh Matevesi for his contribution to Fiji's draw with Wales tonight. Josh scored a penalty.

And before any nay-sayers want to step in, Josh is Cornish through and through. He was born in Cornwall and his late mother was Cornish. His Dad's Fijian and so Josh plays for them.
Josh's own opinion is that he feels Cornish, not English, and identifies himself as "Cornish Fijian"

Proper job!
As long as a hundred of us remain alive, we shall never give in to the domination of the English. We fight not for glory, not for wealth nor honours but only and alone for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life...

Agreed, Josh is a top bloke and his attitude r.e his nationality provides a great riposte to all those trolls and English supremacists that constantly hark on about ''what defines Cornishness'' etc..
Still wont stop them asking the same tired old questions, mind. (Hello Trevor, emmet et al. ;) )
