Just trying to keep the subject on topic, and prevent it from degenerating into a slanging match.

If posters wish to discuss religion, then please start a new thread.

I did not consider my post to be off-topic.

But aside from that, did anyone here actually think off-topic posts was a problem? The reason we needed moderators was because of trolls, not because discussions veered off into different topics. Yet we still have to put up with puerile nonsense from trolls, but now our posts are selectively deleted based on the moderator's interpretation of what is and isn't off-topic.

All this red pen seems like a solution in search of a problem.
